I Was Kidnapped And Tortured For 3 Days By Bandits - Gospel Singer, Tosin Alao Speaks

Popular Nigerian #Gospel Singer, Tosin Alao has recently opened up on his experience with Kidnappers.


Speaking in a recent interview with Amina Tairu, Tosin Alao revealed how he and his crew were kidnapped on their way to Kogi state to perform. He said they were attacked with dangerous weapons like Cutlass, guns, and others after entering Kabba in Kogi state.
The Gospel singer narrated how they were attacked and forcefully taken from their car and made to trek for hours to the kidnapper's hideout. He said they threatened to kill him for slowing their movement while they were trekking. The bandits kept them, beat and tortured them for 3 days while requesting ransom from their loved ones.


Speaking further, he told the public that these bandits are not illiterates and they know what they are doing. He said "They are not illiterates, they know what they are doing even though they are not educated. They understand what they are doing. They speak to people in the communication and network world."

Tosin Alao suffered a great deal in the hands of these bandits but he was later released alongside his crew members after the ransom was paid. The singer said these events still play in his head and he sometimes experiences difficulty sleeping.
