If Phyno And Flavor Can Sing In Yoruba, I Will Talk In English - Actor Aremu Afolayan Fires Trolls

Popular #Nollywood actor and director, Aremu Afolayan has recently taken to social media to reply trolls who criticized him for always speaking in #Yoruba.


Speaking in a recent video on #Instagram, Aremu Afolayan replied trolls saying he cannot stop speaking the Yoruba Language. He gave them a condition that if popular Igbo singers, Phyno and Flavor start singing in Yoruba, he would speak in English. He also threatened to block anybody who criticized him on the issue.


"Let me tell you how I block people because some people said it Is bad that I only speak Yoruba. Number one, go and tell Phyno and Flavor to always sing in Yoruba. If #Phyno and #Flavor can speak and sing in Yoruba, I will always speak English."


Aremu Is a deep Yoruba indigene with vast knowledge of the culture. He speaks the language a lot as a Yoruba actor but it seems some do not like the fact that he rarely speaks English. Although they try to criticize him, Aremu still stands that he will speak the Yoruba language. He gave his critics an impossible task if they are so intent on making him speak English.
