While the English Premier League season ended on a good note for some teams on Sunday, it ended on a sad note for others. Perhaps, the saddest team in the English Premier League after the final matchday is Burnley. They had to bow out of the English Premier League after they were defeated 2-1 by Newcastle United while Leeds United won by the same scoreline against Brentford. The Clarets would be joining Watford and Norwich City in the Championship next season.
